Lifetime Warranty on Core System

At Austra Water Filtration, we stand behind the quality of our systems.

Our whole-home water filtration system comes with a lifetime warranty on the core unit, including the stainless steel housing and internal copper plumbing components. This reflects our commitment to long-term durability, performance, and reliability.

What is Covered

This warranty covers the stainless steel external housing, internal copper plumbing and fittings, and the structural integrity of the system. It also includes manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

If any of these components fail under normal conditions, we will repair or replace them.

Filter Replacement & Maintenance

Filter cartridges are consumable components and are not covered under warranty.

Filters typically require replacement every 12 months, however this may vary depending on your water quality and usage. In areas with higher sediment, chlorine, or contamination, filters may require more frequent replacement. This is normal and depends on local water conditions.

Approved Filter Usage

To maintain warranty coverage, replacement filters must be approved and supplied by Austra Water Filtration.

Use of non-approved or third-party filters will void the warranty, as these may affect system performance, safety, and internal components.

Labour & Service

Labour for filter replacements is not included under warranty.

Filter replacement and servicing are available as a paid service. We also provide reminders and easy access to replacement filters to ensure your system continues to operate at its best.

Installation Requirement

To qualify for warranty coverage, the system must be installed by a licensed plumber and in accordance with Australian plumbing standards.

What is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover filter cartridges, normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, tampering, or damage caused by external factors. It also does not apply where non-approved filters or components have been used, or where installation does not meet required standards.

Transferability

This warranty is valid for the original installation address and remains with the system if the property is sold.
