Austra Water Filtration was founded on a straightforward belief — every Australian family deserves access to clean, filtered water at home, and the companies currently offering it aren't doing it well enough.
The big players are national in name but impersonal in practice. Generic systems, interstate support, and no real connection to the communities they serve. We saw that gap and built something better.
Who we are
AWF is an Australian-owned water filtration company, built from the ground up to serve Australian homes with premium filtration systems, professional installation, and genuine local support.
We're not a franchise. We're not a call centre. We're a team that cares about water quality, about honest recommendations, and about showing up properly for every customer — whether that's in Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth.
Why we started
Three things drove us to start AWF:
A gap in the market — premium whole-home and drinking water filtration was dominated by companies that treated customers as transactions. We knew there was a better way to do it.
A personal understanding of the problem — we'd seen firsthand what chlorine-heavy, sediment-laden tap water does to families, skin, appliances, and peace of mind. It's a problem worth solving.
A desire to build something meaningful AWF isn't just a business. It's a commitment to raising the standard of water filtration in Australia, city by city.

We test before we recommend. Every customer gets a free in-home water test so we understand exactly what's in their water before suggesting a solution. No guessing. No upselling for the sake of it.
We build to a higher standard. Stainless steel housing, 100% copper plumbing, NSF standard compliant filter components, and WaterMark approved installation backed by a lifetime warranty on the core system.
We install properly. Every system is installed by a licensed plumber, fully compliant with Australian regulations.

House Guard — whole-home filtration installed at your mains. Every tap, shower, and appliance in your home gets cleaner water automatically.
Crystal — a 5-stage reverse osmosis system installed under your kitchen sink, delivering purified drinking water through a dedicated tap.
Nomad — coming soon. A smart countertop RO system for renters and apartments. Pure water, no installation required.
